The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, | Singapore

Image
I took myself to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands for the first time the other day. Entering the Marina Bay Sands complex, the shopping gallery was overwhelming, From highbrow to humdrum, every category of shop is here, and hey, even if you can't afford Chanel and Gucci and all the others, it's great fun to look! The men’s room was surprisingly clean for a toilet in such a large public complex, and the equipment was very modern unlike what will read about later in other countries, there are helpful concierges and window shopping is niceIt also had the best eatery section on the ground floor with every sort of Asian food imaginable  500ml Yeo's Coconut juice drink, what i know this didn't sell in malaysia.....Please correct me if i'm wrong....hehe The Snap from the bay, right by the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands The view from the bay, right by the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands Do Some Posing Sin ;)

Muar Town,Johor

Image
Muar's famous Glutton Street or Tam Chiak 贪吃 street popular with locals and tourists alike is located along a 100 metre stretch of Jalan Haji Abu, starting from the junction with Jalan Meriam at one end to Jalan Ali at the other end. This is the northern end of Muar's Glutton Street, at the junction of Jalan Haji Abu and Jalam Meriam. Let's take a walk down Muar's Glutton Street together. Muar is famous for its otak otak. This is one of the otak otak stalls along Glutton Street,They say that a trip to Muar is incomplete without savouring Muar's famous otak otak. We did the obligatory and they were indeed very good. Flavourful curry spices, coconut milk and packed with tender, juicy fresh minced fish. This is the well known O Chien stall. The oysters were fresh and juicy though they were not the extra large kind. This O Chien is the eggy, softer type.... The wanton noodle stall is popular for their tasty fresh shrimp wantons or sui kaw. We enjoyed their crunchy noo...

River Cruise | Singapore

Image
Took River Bus From Merlion Station To Marina Bay Sands  charges S$3 .... the boat turns around and retraces its route back. Boat tours depart every 20 minutes or so and there is no need to buy tickets in advance. Singapore River Cruise charges S$17 for their 40-minute tour with a discounted price of S$10 for children. They also offer a 60-minute tour for S$22 that goes to Robertson Quay, but the added sights are nothing special. They’ve been cruising the Singapore River since 1987 and their boats are designed to look like traditional ‘bum boats’, but electrically operated for a smooth, silent ride. When I went on this tour the audio commentary was a DVD played at the front of the boat, and from the outdoor seats at the back it wasn’t possible to hear a word of it.

Capitol Satay Celup, Melaka

Image
A visit to Malacca will never be complete until you take a taste of the popular satay celup. let me give a simple description of satay celup. "Satay" is an authentic Malay food of grilled marinated meats (common meat used are chicken and beef), served on bamboo skewers, usually come with spicy peanut sauce for dipping. On the other hand, "celup" means "dip" in Malay language. With all the hype that’s going around about Capitol, I’ve always wanted to try out the Satay Celup over here, But the scary thing about coming to Capitol is that I have to face this… A super loooooong queue. This place is infamously known for being crowded. Customers have to queue along the road and wait patiently for their turn.Feeling determined, we joined the queue. Surprisingly throughout the wait, there were people who gave up and left the queue. We waited for 3 and half hours for this dinner...really crazy but worth it,i havent been wait a meal for this long before and this was...

one of the famous landmarks that shouldn't miss by every visitor when visiting Singapore would be none other than Merlion Park. I guess most of you who had been to Singapore must be familiar with this well-known of tourist icon that has the combination of mythical creature with the head of lion and the body of fish. here how To Get To Merlion Park: Get off at Raffles Place MRT station on East West Line. Exit towards United Overseas Bank Plaza and from the middle of the plaza, you'll see the Fullerton Hotel. Merlion Park is just right behind it. Singapore’s official symbol, 8.6 meters tall and weighing 70 tons, spouts water daily on the south bank of the mouth of the Singapore river. The Merlion has a lion head and a fish body resting on a crest of waves. The lion head symbolises the legend of the rediscovery of Singapura, as recorded in the “Malay Annals”. In ancient times, Singapore was known as Temasek, a Javanese word for sea. represents Singapre’s humble origins as a fish...
